Honjoyama Park

From the observation deck at the mountaintop, you can see Mount Fuji and Shimizu Town. Honjo Mountain, which used to be the site of Togura Castle and witnessed a fierce battle between the Late Hojo and Takeda armies, is a small mountain with a height of 76.2 meters. In 1983, it was opened as a park for the townspeople to relax.
This park has walking paths, an observation deck at the mountaintop, gazebos, and playground equipment, allowing you to have a panoramic view of the entire town, including Mount Fuji, from the observation deck at the mountaintop.

From JR Numazu Station South Exit, take the Numazu Hakone Tozan Tokai Bus (bound for Ohira or Numasho, or the Nakatokura Loop). Walk for 10 minutes from Suijin-dori.
