Kakitagawa Park

Kakitagawa is a clear stream designated as a national natural monument. It is known for its spring water group that springs up from the snowmelt water from Mount Fuji. It has been selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Famous Waters" and "Japan's Top 100 Natural Landscapes to Preserve in the 21st Century." From the first and second observation decks in Kadogawa Park, which is adjacent to Kadogawa, you can see the beautiful clear blue water springing up from the "Yukima" and actually experience the coldness of the spring water by putting your feet in the spring water square.

Walking along the promenade, you can see lush green nature and rare creatures such as the Mishima firefly, the Genji firefly, and common kingfisher. It has become a popular spot for picnics and walks, attracting many people on weekends.
