Located within an urban area, yet surrounded by springs and a rich natural environment.
Developed as a waterfront park through collaboration between local residents, NPOs, and the government, it is home to a variety of organisms, including *Mishima water crowfoot*.
Furthermore, in 2018, it was designated a UNESCO Global Geopark as part of the Izu Peninsula Geopark.
From the south exit of JR Mishima Station, take the Numazu-Hakone-Tozan Tokai Bus (bound for Numazu Station via Kakita and Shizuoka Medical Center) and walk 3 minutes from "Floral Avenue Kakitagawa" bus stop.
