Taimenseki Stone

The main deity enshrined here is called Emperor Ojin, and they also worship Himegami and Empress Jingū. In the northern part, there is a "Taimenseki" that remains from the time when Minamoto no Yoritomo, who pacified the Kanto and Izu regions during the battle of the Fuji River, set up his headquarters in the Hachiman area and had a conversation while sitting with Minamoto no Yoshitsune, who rushed from Oshu to meet him.

15 minutes by bus from both JR Mishima Station and JR Numazu Station to National Hospital Entrance bus stop.
